Legendary Lacquers: 2013

Long time, no see, guys! A few of you are probably really confused as to why I disappeared a few months back. I won't get too much into detail because it gets quite confusing.

Basically back in August I started getting sick, and it wouldn't go away. Fast forward to October and i'm still sick.. and starting to cough up blood. YIKES!! Went to the ER and had a cat scan and chest xray to find out what was going on. I saw more doctors than I could count on my fingers and toes and still no one could figure out what is wrong with me. My right lung was slowly deteriorating. After a boatload of painful testing and wrong diagnoses we had to do a last resort surgery. I had VATS surgery done, basically they cut me open and cut out all of the dead tissue from my lung. It was a crappy recovery in the hospital and I had a lot of needles and tubes stuck in me but I am stable now!

Unfortunately the doctors still aren't sure what had originally caused all of this. I am still actively getting tests done and seeing specialists to get to the bottom of everything. It has been extremely exhausting, but I'm just glad it isn't worse.

So that's that! Obviously with being sick and in and out of the hospital I haven't had much time to dedicate to blogging. I miss it and with some convincing from my dear friend Ashley at Plump and Polished I have decided to try and get back into the swing of things. I haven't prepared anything to post today but I wanted to give an explanation for my absence. I miss sharing my nails with you guys! Since I don't have anything specific for this post I'm just going to leave you all with some lovely manis i've done over the past few months.
