KBShimmer Lilac Dreams & Ice Queen

TGIF everyone! So glad it's finally the weekend. To celebrate I wanted to show you this gorgeous mani I came up with today using KBShimmer nail polish in Lilac Dreams and Ice Queen. Lately I've been wearing just plain polish colors so I wanted to do something a bit more exciting than usual, but still simple. (I'm so lazy!!) 


I started off with 2 coats of KBShimmer Lilac Dreams. This color is so pretty! It is explained as a luscious shade that depending on the light, shifts slightly from a medium purple to a lovely shade of pink. Holographic glitter in aqua blue and sliver add sparkle and shine while a scattering of micro black and silver glitter adds depth to the color. The formula was great, smooth and very easy so apply. Full opacity in 2 coats.

 I took probably a gazillion  pictures before finally capturing the true color of this polish, as it shows in the bottle. Like the description says, it does shift from purple to pink depending on the lighting. These pictures were taken from my inside my lightbox.

 These pictures were taken outside and it was a bit cloudy. You can see more of how it shifts to a different shade below.

 It looks more purpley outside, and indoors it shows it's true color as being more of a pink shade. 

To give my mani a little flair I added KBShimmer Ice queen on the tips, and as an accent nail. It is explained as holographic glitters floating in an almost clear polish, slightly silver blue in color. We start with micro fine glitter, move to several hex glitters and finish with scattering of large diamond glitter. The formula of this polish was good. The glitters were plentiful and it was surprisingly easy to apply. 2 coats are shown on the accent nail.
